Why Invest
Firnesse is entering its second year with confidence that it has improved its understanding of its core business. It has also grown around 20,000 plants which should help it to generate revenue in 2018 and beyond.
Firnesse is seeking further support to enable it to sell more product, explore overseas markets, transfer some operations, pay some director’s fees and continue development and growth.
The business plans have not changed significantly from last year. Firnesse seeks to grow and sell conifer varieties including spruces, firs and pines that are currently not available in Australia. The fresh-cut and potted Christmas trees are targeted at the premium Christmas tree market of urban centres in Australia and premium Asian markets. The business will also trial supplying the current standard radiata pine trees, as these are the most well-known to the Australian consumer.
